Transportation to Camps:
There will be a round-trip vehicle charge to camp from Bulawayo per vehicle with PH – US$250
For more than one person we will make use of an independent company using a comfortable, air-conditioned minivan at a cost of up to US$1000, depending on the number of persons in the party.
Transport/Handling & Dip and Pack:
All Dip & Pack will be handled by Collett’s Wildlife Artistry in Bulawayo.

We require a deposit being 50% of Total Daily Rates for hunters only to be transferred to John Sharp Safaris to secure a booking, with the balance of Daily Rates to be transferred to John Sharp Safaris 60 days prior to hunt commencement. Observer charges and the 2% levy on daily rates will be collected after the hunt together with the trophy fees, 4% levy and incidentals. In the event that you do not want to travel with too much cash, this final amount may be transferred once you return home.
1. There shall be no refund on any deposit paid if a hunt is cancelled within six (6) months of the date of commencement of the Safari
2. In the event of a hunt being cancelled prior to six (6) months of the date of the Safari, then 50% of the deposit will be refundable.
3. In the event the Safari Operator cancels the Safari, or the area is closed to hunting or travel for any reason, prior to commencement of the safari, the client will receive a full refund.
4. No refunds will be made if the client leaves the safari before the scheduled completion date.

Please advise us when booking a hunt should your clients require an exclusive camp i.e. no other persons in camp for the DURATION of the hunt.
Exclusive rates attract a premium of 20% on top of the quoted daily rates.
To Secure Booking – Deposit: 50% of total daily Rates
90 Days Before Hunt Starts – Further deposit: 25% of total daily rates
30 Days Before Hunt Starts – Final payment: 25% of total daily rates
- Deposits will NOT be refunded unless the hunt is cancelled no less than 6 months prior to the start of the hunt.
- If the client cancels during the period six months leading up to the start of the hunt, 50% of the paid deposit, will be refunded.
- If a client cancels thirty days prior to a safari there will be no refund at all.
- There will be no refunds paid should a client arrive late for the start of the safari or leaves before the scheduled completion date of the safari. Any extension to the safari will be accommodated where practical and the additional days will be charged pro rata at the original daily rate unless there has been any upgrade.
- Interest will be charged on the final invoice due if unpaid after 30 days from invoice date. Current Rates apply.
We strongly recommend that the client/s purchase Personal Medical Insurance that covers evacuation from the safari area to the nearest international hospital in the event of a medical emergency.
THE CLIENT/S MUST INCLUDE PROOF OF EMERGENCY EVACUATION INSURANCE with the other the paperwork required prior to commencement of the hunt. It is recommended that Trophy Insurance is purchased by the client.
Whilst every care is taken to protect our clients on safari, an indemnity form MUST be signed PRIOR to the start of any Safari. This is a stipulation by the Directors and all PH’s must adhere to this.
ALL PH’s are encouraged to read the “Conditions for hunting on Hammond Ranch”
We invite the hunter’s friends and family to join us on the ranch where they can enjoy a variety of activities such as a guided non hunting safari, special interest trips such as birding, tour to local Gonarezhou National Park (US$100 pppd plus fuel), visit to local communities and schools etc (US$50pppd plus fuel). Max 6 people. Subject to availability.
